christmas shopping: fin.

i went to the bank today (to open a savings account, good girl!!) and i was talking to the lady and she told me she hadn't even STARTED!!! im like...



What the HECK?!


why do people do that? i mean... perhaps she only has to buy a few gifts ... but why stress yourself like that? i start shopping the day after thanksgiving every year (bc i like torture, haha) and i just finished today. and just THAT has been stressful enough! ugghh..

what i did today.

Well, I am officially on break...and it's amazing. I am catching up on all of the things I have been wanting to do all semester. I am dedicating this week to organizing all of my school things & sewing.

First. School things. By that I mean the 40 pairs of scissors I bought at Targe for .38! And the 100 glue sticks I bought there too. I have SO MUCH stuf you guys, seriously. It's ridiculous. So I took some pictures so you could see how I have destroyed my house (and my mom wants to kill me for it), and then I will show how awesome it looks when I am finished.


Second. Sewing. I have had some sewing projects for YEARS that I haven't finished. Brooke's mom (beth) asked me to make a slipcover for one of their pillows (pictures later) so it got me excited to sew a few things I have been putting off. For example, I have had Corey's Sonic for 2 YEARS! Wow, that's bad.

Well, this is definely a duck cake. Katy made this today. I basically watched her. But, its cute. and 3D. hahahha. She bit the beak off. soooo cute :)

i am aware that if i am going to do this blog thing that i need to regularly update, so im sorry. even though im pretty sure nobody reads this thing...but perhaps they would if i updated?!

update on the last post: i got a treadmill on craigslist. i paid 80 dollars for it, and katy and i drove out to nashville (about 30 minutes south, also where she is getting married) to get it. just let me tell you what happened..... it was dark. it is in the middle of nowhere, and this ladies house was in a hole. serious. it was scary -- but we made it out alive.


i made my goal weight -- it was to lose 3 lbs this week. I DID IT! YAY!! next week its 4..so i will update on that later.



i am almost done shopping for christmas, i am trying really hard to find something for my mom... she is hard to buy for ... idk. i wanted to get a digital book reader but they are sold out!! EVERYWHERE! (and not to mention they are 300 dollars!)

little known fact about me: i love love love giving gifts! seriously, it gives me such joy to see other people receiving things that they REALLY want. ugh. i love it. its the gift God has given me -- the ability to be the absolute best gift giver. hahahha (& my humbleness of course)




LAST....I AM OFF SCHOOL FOR A MONTH! I AM SO HAPPY. i am taking full advantage of my time off and that means i am going to relax...and organize. bc thats what i do best.

okay. so now that i don't have to post on this for school anymore, im gonna blog about fun things :)


number one. i am offically 21. and it's official that i don't like alcohol. everyone was calling me a 'lightweight', but im quite okay with that term :)


number two. my bff katy is getting married in 5 MONTHS! i need to stop being fat so that i don't ruin the wedding pictures.

number three. got my license today. terrible picture. period. i look like a creep. serious.

number four. i love to eat. i mean katy and i went to BJ's tonight (it's at the mall)....it was amazing. that's all.


number five. i bought a gazelle last night. not like the animal...like the excercise equipment. 40 dollars at walmart. it took katy and i like 2 hours to put it together, and by the time it was up. we were too tired to work out...lame.






number six. i want a treadmill. i am looking to purchase one. if anyone has one they want to give to me or let me buy please let me know....
