1. i havent stopped doing homework since sunday morning.

oh, happy day.
well, after the last depressing post (or perhaps not so depressing) i felt that it was time to blog about katy and i's newest endeavour. we were talking last night & before we knew it we looked over & realized that it was already 11 pm! (mostly bc corey called me asking me if i had fallen asleep bc i hadn't called him, hah).
we have decided to try something for fun....wedding planning. we're calling it a 'business'...but i dont know what that looks like. right now, for me...im doing it because i think it is fun. the minute it doesnt become fun...im probably done. (unless of course im making some fat cash monies, haha)...
i think the first step for both katy and i is to get a wedding planning certificate (about 800 dollars), but as you can probably guess i don't have 800$. sooo. for now....i will see how much people trust us to 'hire me' without being certified. hah..
anyway! last night we stayed up till 3am making a website and blog (of course)
so go take a look, both are really rough right now i apologize but its because it was 3am! hah.
oh, by the way we are calling ourselves heavy metal (get the joke?)

the fondant cake :) ... katy and i were pretty proud.

i'm letting go....
AH! horrible day yesterday.
among a lot of other circumstances it was the first day back to school after spring break. so that basically says it all.
a lot of life changes are coming my way... & im okay with it.
i don't believe God wants me to be where i am right now. i'm feeling a change coming about in a big way, & thats okay by me. right now im standing on an uneasy road & to a person who needs to see her path ahead of her its rough. i'm trusting that God will lead me where He wants me to go, & He will bring with me the people who should be with me.
i'm letting go....

casinos are NOT for winners.
well, don't get me wrong... i had a GREAT time. but, i just recentely became a believer in the idea that it is IMPOSSIBLE to win at a casino. at least at the penny slots where i was playing.
at least i am rest assured that i only lost 30 dollars... (although 30 that i wish i had spent on a manicure/pedicure or something more worthwhile)... but all in all im not that disappointed.
it was fun to pull the handle on the slots, and watch my 5 dollars INCH up to 6
where i SWORE i would stop, but then i would say ...
"what about 7! what about 8!" then i would have 1 cent left and say....
"WELLLL! im done!"
corey won (after being down about 150 dollars) 255 dollars! granted he was playing blackjack so he had a better chance at winning money than i did at the stupid sap sucking penny slots. so he had a great time playing the tables. (which by the way TERRIFY me).
the best for me was hanging with my boyfriiiiend (barf, haha) and the massage i got (when the guy massaged my hands i ALMOST died it felt so good) and the fact that there was a TV in the bathroom and the shower was one of those glass ones and i got to watch MTV when i showered! it was amazing, and i totally felt famous. (corey on the other hand found it to be annoying and turned it off as soon as he came in to shower after me, hahaha)!

i need help!
okay, so i need some help. i've purchased 3 different pairs of shoes for katy's wedding! i don't know what i was thinking?! the first pair was perfect. then so was the second so i rationalized that i could just take the other pair back. and then the other night i found the third pair! it was JUST WANT I WANTED! except they are high heels and i wanted flats (its gonna be a long day) so im uploading some pictures so you guys can help me choose.

reasons why....
since the weather is trying to trick me into thinking its warm and then raining all day, i thought i would reflect on reasons why i wish that it was summer.
1. polar pops.
2. walking outside with no shoes on (yes, im a hillbilly)
3. my trampoline (for both jumping and laying out)
4. "swimming" in my sister's 3 foot pool.
5. birthday party's galore (almost all of my family's birthdays are in the summer)
6. wearing my hair in a pony tail.
7. not having to wear makeup.
8. sun dresses.
9. orange flinstone push ups.
10. mrs. curls (& riding bikes with brooke aka small town nights).
11. opening the windows at my house (bc we have so many).
12. the OLG festival as well as the Indiana State Fair.
13. garage sales :)
14. walking over to simple brew to eat lunch.
&& im sure there are many, many more.

field trip!
well, we had a classroom 'field trip' on saturday to the slippery noodle inn downtown indianapolis. it was really fun & i felt like a big girl. the waitress introduced me to sex and the beach (the drink, haha) && welllll.... you can decide for yourself how that went.
